The Saxdor 460 GTC Is Finally Here

Saxdor 460 GTC

Finnish boatbuilder Saxdor Yachts will be making waves in the United States with the U.S. launch of its new flagship 460 GTC.

The massive new platform will be showcased at the Miami International Boat Show from February 11th-15th, 2026.

The 460 GTC is making its global debut at boot Düsseldorf 2026 this week, then Saxdor will turn its sights on North American buyers as it expands its presence in the premium segment.

Saxdor calls the 460 GTC a strategic evolution of its successful 400 series, rather than simply a larger boat, but one that elevates its signature European style and overall performance. At 46' LOA, the 460 GTC will represent the brand’s entry into the 45–50-foot yacht category, putting it alongside an already well-established list of longstanding builders. Saxdor was founded in only 2019 by designer Sakari Mattila in Helsinki, Finland.

Despite only launching in seven years ago, the company has made bold moves in quick succession, including the launch of well-received models like the 320 GTO, which made BoatBlurb's list of Best Boats of 2021, the 270 GTO in early 2023 which marked their entrance into the prized 18-28 foot category, and the 400 GTO which signified the brand's ability to deliver large vessels without sacrificing performance or quality. In their first five years, they went from 30 employees to over 500 with revenue increasing 15 fold. They also expanded their production space to over 10,000 square meters (107,000 sq ft). As such, the success has put them among the leaders of the European design trend that continues to grow in Western markets.

The standout feature of the 460 GTC is her floorplan, courtesy of a design that lets the all-season wheelhouse merge with the exterior decks fore and aft. Dual-opening side doors and innovative access systems make it possible to transition from interior spaces like the pilothouse and galley to the expansive outdoor social areas. The flowing layout connects the bow lounge, main saloon, and aft deck without interruption -- ideal for cruising, entertaining, or relaxing at anchor.

The yacht also features Saxdor's latest iteration of “private-island-style living” with some of the largest fold-down terraces in its class. These spaces, which offer generous additional water-level functional space, create numerous ways for owners and guests to expand their capabilities for enjoying time on the water. Other unique options include a 55" TV in the saloon and hammocks on the terraces.

Inside, a thoughtfully arranged galley and social seating area give the 460 GTC the feel of a much larger yacht. The lower deck layout is designed to support extended cruising, with spacious cabins and yacht-level comfort that appeal to both weekend adventurers and longer-haul cruisers. Below deck is a standard two-cabin layout with a master cabin with separate shower and a private mid-cabin. An optional aft cabin can and additional head can also offer further accommodations for guests or crew.

Performance remains a key focus for Saxdor, with the 460 GTC offering a wide spectrum of Mercury outboard power configurations. Saxdor signed an exclusive partnership with Mercury earlier this year. Rated up to 1275 horsepower, options range from standard triple V8 300 hp outboards, to triple V10 425s, or twin V12 600s for performance-oriented owners. Some configurations will also offer the advanced Fathom e-Power system, a lithium-ion-based energy management solution gaining traction in Europe for its efficiency and quieter onboard operation.

American boaters and industry professionals can catch the 460 GTC at the upcoming Miami International Boat Show, where Saxdor will not only present the 460 GTC but also showcase how the brand’s design philosophy and performance pedigree translate to the U.S. market.
