Saxdor Expands Flagship Lineup With New 460 GTS Ahead of Cannes Debut

Saxdor Yachts has unveiled the new Saxdor 460 GTS, an open-roof model that expands the company's 46-foot flagship lineup.

The new model is scheduled to make its world premiere at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival this September. The GTS joins the recently launched 460 GTC as the second flagship in Saxdor's rapidly expanding range.

The 460 GTS will share the same hull, twin-stepped deep-V design and overall platform as the 460 GTC but will adopt a more open layout centered around a full-width retractable canvas roof. According to Saxdor, the design is intended to combine open-air boating with the protection of an enclosed wheelhouse when needed.

Power will come from twin Mercury Verado outboards, with owners able to choose between 600 hp or 800 hp total output depending on engine configuration. The company says the yacht is designed to balance performance, fuel efficiency and handling while maintaining the social spaces expected of a premium dayboat.

"2026 has been a pivotal year in Saxdor’s journey, representing a defining moment in the evolution of our brand," said CEO Erna Rusi in a press release. "Through continuous innovation, a clear vision and a strong focus on our customers, we have built a new generation of Saxdor yachts and expanded our presence in the premium segment. The launch of our flagship family, including the 460 GTC and now the new 460 GTS, is a reflection of our ambition to continue redefining the modern boating experience."

The cockpit will feature a large U-shaped seating area with an adjustable table that converts into a sun pad. The ever-popular fold-down side terraces will expand the usable deck space while at anchor, while a wet bar and outdoor galley will be positioned to serve the main entertainment area. Up front, additional seating and sun loungers create another social zone for those looking for their own space.

Below deck, the 460 GTS will ofer accommodations for overnight cruising with two full cabins and a complete head. Natural light through large hull windows and overhead glazing adds to the overall ambiance, while the forward owner's cabin occupies the entire bow with the guest cabin positioned amidships.

The new 460 GTS is yet another fast milestone for the burgeoning Finnish boat builder in just the last two years.

In 2025, Saxdor revealed the 460 GTC, marking the company's first entry into the 45-50 foot segment and establishing a new flagship for the brand. The enclosed-wheelhouse 460 GTC model officially debuted earlier this year.

Saxdor also introduced its AI-powered co-captain MySaxdor mobile app, designed to assist boaters with navigation, trip planning, vessel information, and onboard support using artificial intelligence.

Saxdor's rapid expansion has also been expedited under new ownership. In 2025, Malibu Boats acquired the brand in a $175 million USD deal, adding the fast-growing European builder to its growing portfolio while allowing Saxdor to continue operating under its existing management structure. The Loudon, Tennessee-based Malibu has a portfolio also includes the namesake Malibu brand, as well as Axis wake boats, Cobalt, and Pursuit. In 2021 they also acquired the Maverick Boat Group which includes Maverick, Cobia, Pathfinder, and Hewes.  Saxdor was founded in only 2019 by designer Sakari Mattila in Helsinki, Finland.

The all-new 460 GTC will make its first appearance to the public at the upcoming 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
