Harris Boats just announced the launch the company's first all-electric pontoon -- the Cruiser e-210.

The new boat will be powered by a Mercury Avator 35e Outboard.

The Cruiser e-210 will offer the same level comfort, amenities and style of the Cruiser model lineup while adding a more sustainable, gas-free option.

“Our first all-electric pontoon represents an exciting milestone for the Harris brand,” said Brian Athmer, President, Harris Boats, in a press release.

“Designed, engineered, and tested as an integrated system in partnership with Mercury Marine, we are thrilled to offer our customers the Cruiser e-210. A silent, efficient, and cost competitive electric pontoon boat, it is also uncompromising in the features and luxury craftsmanship Harris is known for. Early feedback has been overwhelmingly positive with the e-210, and we look forward to continuing to build upon our electric offerings across our lineup.”

The Cruiser e-210 will carry an LOA of 23'2" with an 8'6" beam.

Onboard the Cruiser e-210, boaters will enjoy the popular Cruiser SLDH layout, which offers a rear-facing lounger with dual-helm chairs. The launch includes a variety of exterior, accent and vinyl options to choose from. Additional Cruiser e-210 specs include:

The Mercury Avator 35e procudes power and acceleration similar to a Mercury 9.9 horsepower 4-stroke gas outboard while pushing 3700 watts of continuous power. The 2300 Wh lithium ion battery for the 35e was developed in partnership with the Navico Group’s Mastervolt brand and engineered specifically for marine applications. The lithium battery banks are drop-tested and IP67 rated for water resistance.

Mercury describes the Avator motors as having "transverse flux motor technology" which are over 60% quieter than a 6 horsepower outboard at full throttle. The motor generates high torque with little effort, maximizing battery life and range while contributing to faster acceleration and more efficient overall performance. Propellers are crafted of a high-strength, impact-resistant composite material. Their three-blade design maximizes thrust for peak battery life with minimal noise.

The Cruiser e-210 will be on display at industry tradeshows in early 2025, including the Minneapolis and Detroit Boat Shows.
