President of Maple Leaf Marinas David Rozycki Passes Away

David Rozycki, the president of Maple Leaf Marinas, has passed away at the age of 64.

Maple Leaf Marinas is one of Ontario's largest marina groups with over 20 locations across the province including popular locations in Muskoka, Georgian Bay, and Lake Simcoe.

Dave was the beloved husband of Regina (nee Zuwa), loving father of Andrew (Amanda), Jennifer (Stephen Feeney), Matthew and Wendy (Aaron Vindua), cherished Papa of Caden, Conor, Lucy, Bryn, Lily and Finn, and dear brother of Bruce (Melanie), Anne (Rick Goverde) and Carl (Karen-Ann) and brother-in-law of Terry Zuwa and the late Lisa (Sandro Osti). Dave will also be missed by his numerous nieces and nephews, his many friends and business colleagues.

Dave was also the founder and co-CEO of Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities before serving as the president of Maple Leaf Marinas. Dave was the 2021 recipient of the Boating Ontario Gord Blake Visionary Award.

From David's online tribute:

"Dave was a kind man who believed strongly in his community and his faith. He was a talented vocalist, singing Barbershop and soloing at many events and occasions. He was an accomplished sailor, avid golfer, and enjoyed hockey, mountain biking, hiking and making maple syrup from his sugar bush. Dave was a pioneer in real estate and land development, who along with partners, established Parkbridge and grew the company to become the largest of its kind in Canada, forever altering Wasaga Beach and many other communities across the country. In his latest endeavor, he continued the success with Maple Leaf Marinas, growing it into a thriving business while providing him the opportunity to marry many of his favorite pastimes. Above all, he cherished his family and the moments they shared at the farm and the cottage. He will be deeply missed."

A donation to Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation - Campbell House would be appreciated by Dave’s family. #news
