Nimbus Group AB has announced the launch of the Nimbus 12 series, a successor to their successful WTC 11 series.
The new boats will feature extensive design changes to further position Nimbus Group within the premium cruising segment. Over 200 refinements will be added across three models -- the Weekender 12, Tender 12, and Commuter 12.
Just like its predecessors in the WTC 11 series, the Nimbus 12 will be available with a Weekender (W), Tender (T), and Commuter (C) configuration, meaning the series meets the diverse needs and preferences of different customer groups within the segment. The 12 series will build upon the award-winning design introduced in the company's 11 Series and will retain its quintessential seaworthiness and Scandinavian design philosophy. All three models will carry a 41'7" LOA.
Joacim Gustavsson, Chief Designer, at Nimbus, said: "There are hundreds of new updates on the new boats. We have kept a lot of things on the boats that we know work, and improve the areas we know people use a lot. We have a new design for the stainless steel railings, we have extended the swim platform, and we have also new stainless steel decor. We have a completely new Nimbus (captain's) chair design, and this will be the new Nimbus standard. We also have something that we introduced on the W11, the balcony, and the balcony brings something new to the experience. We get you so much closer to the water, it's another feeling of freedom."

The Tender 12 (T12) will be the open concept, walk-around model of the new Nimbus 12 Series premium day boat and versatile tender designed for owners who want the ultimate in versatility. The T12 is based on the popular Nimbus T11 “walk-around for all activities” concept.

The W12 is the larger take on the Weekender 11 concept with an emphasis on open space for socializing and easy movement without stepping up to a full cabin cruiser. The W12 shares the same twin-stepped hull and low planing threshold of the 11 Series with a top speed above 40 knots. Like all 12 Series models, the Weekender 12 offers accommodation for four within two double cabins, allowing for day trips, long weekends, or even extended cruising, and can accommodate up to 12 people on board.
The Commuter 12 (C12) will be the new 41-foot flagship of Nimbus’s all-weather commuter line offering an enclosed wheelhouse designed to run year-round. Designed as a "go anywhere, any season" platform, the C12 is built for long-distance travel under harsher conditions, or it can be opened up for more air and breeze under sunny conditions. The C12 is for those seeking a practical, fast commuter boat that can also serve as a family cruiser but also handle tough coastal conditions with confidence.

“Nimbus Group and the Nimbus brand have their roots in the premium segment and nearly 60 years of experience building boats that deliver what customers in this segment demand. Nimbus Group has been focusing exclusively on the premium segment for some time now, and the new 12 series will further reinforce this strategic shift,” said Johan Inden, CEO of Nimbus Group, in a press release.
The boats will make their world premiere at Boot Düsseldorf in January 2026 with full-scale production beginning during the first quarter of next year.
