Nimbus Group has announced the debut of the EdgeWater 250CC for 2026 -- a newly developed 25-foot center console designed to capture growing demand within one of North America’s most competitive markets.
The launch represents EdgeWater’s first major product announcement since 2020 and its first new model since Nimbus Group acquired the Florida-based builder in 2023. The company confirmed it intends to continue expanding and modernizing EdgeWater’s lineup as part of its long-term growth strategy.
According to the company, the new boat "features an unsinkable hull built using vacuum infusion technology and is equipped with a range of highly requested special features."
The 250CC will replace EdgeWater’s popular 245CC and was designed in direct response to feedback from both dealers and customers.
“The 250CC combines the qualities our customers say matter most — space, storage, fishability, and all-weather performance,” said Justin Joyner, Vice President of Nimbus Group North America, in a press release.
“It is not only the largest in its class, but also the best equipped for all conditions.”
For Nimbus Group, the 250CC will mark the beginning of a broader push with product innovation. Under the conglomerates umbrella, recent launches have included a brand-new line from its Aquador brand, along with multiple new Nimbus models include flagship Nimbus 495 Flybridge. The new product strategy has generated a strong market reception and several industry awards, underscoring the company’s emphasis on customer-driven design.
After acquiring EdgeWater in 2023, Nimbus stated plans to move some production to the EdgeWater factory in Florida. That process also included bringing some of the well-known European brand Aquador to North America. The Group also began sea trials for an electric concept boat later the same year.
With the 250CC, EdgeWater and Nimbus Group will be looking to strengthen their presence in the competitive North American center console market. They currently have operations in Sweden, Finland, Poland, England, Norway and the United States.
The new 250CC will feature a 26'3" LOA, 8'6" beam, and a 31" draught using EdgeWater's "Single Piece Infusion" hull with a Lifetime Structural Warranty. The new hull carries 20 degrees of deadrise and will be rated for up to 400 HP courtesy of Yamaha outboards. Fuel capacity will be a solid 140 gallons (530 L) with a 19 gallon (72 L) freshwater capacity.
"Our newest center console is a true triple-threat — equally confident inshore, nearshore, and offshore. This all-water battlewagon is built without compromise," said Justin Joyner, VP of Sales & Marketing. You can get the first look at the 250CC in action in the video below:
