NAVAN Boats to Unveil New C38 Cabin Cruiser for 2027

European-styled Brunswick brand NAVAN Boats is ready to unveil the all-new C38 for 2027.

The new design will be revealed at the Cannes Yachting Festival running Sept 8-13.

The nascent Brunswick-owned brand, which launched in only 2023, is dubbed the group's "exploration boat brand."

"NAVAN has quickly established a distinctive voice in the exploration segment, strengthened by the launch of the C38," said Brenna Preisser, President, Brunswick Boat Group. "This is the next chapter which we are proud to share at Cannes, celebrating the spirit of adventure which transcends borders."

The new C38 will carry an LOA of 42'11" (13.1 m) with an 11'2" (3.4 m) beam and is rated for up to 850 horsepower with a 250 gal (950 L) fuel tank. It will carry a dry weight of 17,250 lbs (7824 kg).

Standard power will be twin Mercury 350 hp V10 outboards with Mercury Digital Throttle & Shift (DTS). Joystick piloting is available as an option.

NAVAN also confirmed an upcoming S38 model will join the brand's fleet in early 2027. Details surrounding its design and distinction from the C38 are yet to be released.

NAVAN also paired new models together when debuting the S30 and C30 at their launch event at Cannes in 2023. The boats debuted in Fort Lauderdale later the same year. The S30 showcased the company's "Sport" layout with an open-air center console, while the C30 marked the enclosed "Cabin" layout with a full pilothouse.

They also debuted their first T-top center console with the T30 in 2024.

The new C38 will be built around NAVAN's signature T-Step Hull design and is "designed for owners who want to push beyond familiar waters with confidence, comfort and unmistakable style."

In a press release, the company earmarked five distinct features that boaters can expect with the C38:

  • Patented T-Step Hull: Engineered for a smoother, more efficient ride at speed, providing confidence and comfort whether crossing to the next port or exploring closer to home.

  • Class-Leading Interior: A standing-height head and a cabin that rivals boats a class above, comfortably sleeping four without giving up outside space.

  • Social Folding Terrace: The swim platform transforms into an extension of the party, turning arrival into a destination in itself.

  • Center Console Helm Deck Layout: A command station and gathering space in one, keeping the captain connected to guests instead of isolated at the wheel.

  • Modular Aft Section: Built to adapt to how the day is spent, from fishing, cruising, or cooking, the aft section reconfigures to fit the moment.

"Every brand has a moment when its vision becomes tangible. For NAVAN, that moment is the C38," said Vittorio Bichucher, General Manager of NAVAN Boats. "This platform is what happens when you listen to your owners and ask what exploration boating could look like built from the ground up."

Boaters attending Cannes can attend the C38 launch event on Sept 8 at 5 pm at Port Canto.

The full spec sheet for the C38 is also available for those who can't attend in person.

The C38 is expected to be unveiled in North America at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in October.
