Hurricane Rolls Out 2026 Upgrade for SunDeck 2690

Hurricane Boats has revealed a major overhaul to its SunDeck 2690 -- a popular model in the company's Yacht Series -- for the 2026 model year.

The Polaris-owned brand has been systematically updating its fleet with a completely new aesthetic and suite of features. The company turned heads last year with the launch of its flagship SunDeck 3200 Crossover Bowrider at FLIBS. They also revealed the all-new 24CC Center Console at the same event.

The refreshed 2690 will be poised to capture the same elevated style, enhanced comfort, and smart technology integration for families seeking an all-around platform in the midsize range. Like the larger SunDeck 3200, the 2690 will offer a unique blend of big boat amenities paired with a more economically-sized package. Positioned between the existing SunDeck 2600 and the flagship SunDeck 3200, the refreshed 2690 will retain its 26'4" LOA with 9' beam, maintaining its “Yacht Certified” status and a rating of up to 450 horsepower. Standard features include a 6 Speaker Clarion Gold Audio System, bow and stern telescoping ladders, an enclosed toilet with sink, full wraparound windshield, freshwater washdown, and a stainless steel bimini.

Key Upgrades & Features

Seating and upholstery now include “Soft Touch” vinyl and “Cool Touch” options—emphasizing comfort and durability for all aboard.
The helm has been modernized with a standard 9" display (12" optional upgrade), integrated round gauges and a digital switching interface. The system puts audio, lighting and other onboard systems at the captain’s fingertip, showing a visual depiction of how lighting is used.
Enhanced convenience features include a newly designed lockable glove box for gear and personal items.
For pet-friendly boating, a dedicated dog-bowl and mat have been added—designed for easy access, stability and cleanup.
Beyond the 2690, additional 2026 options include a “Patio” stern platform available on select FunDeck models, and a new “Rear Lounge (RL)” layout which allows passengers to lounge facing backwards for a more relaxed on-water experience.

With the refresh, Hurricane Boats will be primed for broad appeal in the competitive deck-boat segment. With its midsize length, beam, power rating, and yacht certification — while offering an upgraded interior, more intuitive helm controls and convenience enhancements -- should help the 2690 stand out amid growing consumer demand for tech-rich, comfortable on-water leisure experiences.
