German aftermarket luxury brand BRABUS has announced a partnership with Italian yacht builder AB Yachts to develop a range of high-performance luxury yachts.
The first model scheduled to make its world debut at the Monaco Yacht Show in September 2026.
AB Yachts, which is owned by the larger Next Yacht Group, will work with BRABUS to craft what both companies describe as the world's first BRABUS-branded yacht range.
BRABUS has developed several high-end marine products in recent years, including a line of luxury catamarans with Sunreef and a partnership with Axopar to craft limited edition Stealth models. They have even developed limited edition luxury watches to match their nautical projects. BRABUS also has a long history in the automotive market, having done aftermarket upgrade projects with brands like Mercedes-Benz, Maybach, Porsche, and Bentley.

The collaboration with AB yachts will now expand the BRABUS Marine portfolio into larger vessels including yachts and superyachts.
The first jointly developed yacht will be unveiled at the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show, running September 23rd–26th, 2026. A second model is already in development to debut at the 2027 event as well.
"AB Yachts has exactly the kind of energy we're looking for: the drive to challenge what is possible, to push boundaries and to create something that instantly feels special," said Constantin Buschmann, CEO and owner of BRABUS, in a statement.
"As we continue the journey of BRABUS Marine alongside our partners Axopar and Sunreef Yachts, this collaboration opens up a completely new dimension for us—bringing together our design, our love for bold design, individuality and detail with the incredible expertise of AB Yachts."

Giorgio Mattei, Deputy Chairman of Next Yacht Group, said both companies share a common vision.
"It was, quite simply, love at first sight. From our very first meeting, we recognised in BRABUS the same relentless passion for innovation, performance and bold design that defines AB Yachts," Mattei said.
"Together, we are creating something truly distinctive: an innovative co-designed product that we believe will leave a lasting mark on the yachting industry and stand as a memorable milestone in its evolution."
The companies said the new yacht range will combine BRABUS' design language and personalization philosophy with AB Yachts' engineering and manufacturing expertise. The project will target the larger yacht segment while still maintaining a focus on BRABUS's signature aspects — performance, craftsmanship, and customization.

Founded in 1992, AB Yachts builds in high-performance motor yachts featuring lightweight construction, waterjet propulsion, and electronically controlled trim systems. Its current lineup ranges from the 80-foot AB 80 to their flagship AB 130.
Founded in Germany in 1977, BRABUS is best known for its high-performance automotive modifications and luxury products. The company is well-known for partnering with major brands to craft limited edition upgraded version of their products. Some of their most popular projects include the BRABUS Rocket Series using the Mercedes CLS sedan. The vehicle set a world record for the fastest street-legal sedan at 365.7 km/h (227.2 mph) on Italy's Nardò Ring. The BRABUS 'Shadow' range with Axopar Boats uses the XC Cross Cabin template to craft the Shadow 500, Shadow 900, and Shadow 1200 editions with upgraded styling, interiors, and Mercury Racing outboard power up to 1200 hp.
