At the recent Cannes Yachting Festival in France, German aftermarket tuning company BRABUS Marine unveiled the all-new boutique Shadow 1500 Stealth Green Signature Edition. The Shadow 1500 uses the Axopar 45 platform as its foundation before adding a host of high-end performance and luxury features. BRABUS performance packages are centered around exclusive hull appearance, blacked-out elements, premium helm features, and high-performance capability.
At the heart of the Shadow 1500 is triple Mercury Racing V8 outboards producing a total output of 1500 horsepower (1,115 kw) -- making it one of the most agile high-performance dayboats in its class. With triple 500R's, the Shadow 1500 cruises at 40 knots with a top speed up to 62 knots and carries a fuel tank of 1390 L (367 gal). Her hull uses a twin-stepped 20-degree V "sharp entry" design with a dry weight of 8000 kg (17600 lbs). It carries a beam of 4.11 m (13'6") with a draught of 1.2 m (3'11") and seating for 12 passengers. It will be available in three layouts based on the Axopar template -- Cross Cabin (XC), Sun Top, and the sporty Cross Top.
With BRABUS redesigning and outfitting the boat from bow to stern, it has exclusive features like BRABUS' unique upholstery and outfitting, a premium audio system, and an extended navigation package. Brand-typical design elements from BRABUS include striking accents across both the signature exterior and a fully customizable interior.
The helm setup is deliberately configured without Joystick Piloting for Outboards (JPO) as standard, ensuring the most direct connection between driver and machine at high speeds. For clients prioritizing docking assistance and advanced positioning control, JPO is offered as an optional system upgrade.
The design premiered at Cannes showcases BRABUS' fully monochromatic “Stealth Green” concept - inspired by the world of BRABUS supercars. A selection of style-matched upholstery, detailing and outfitting options underline the superboat's aesthetic.
In addition to the world premiere of the Shadow 1500, BRABUS also unveiled the SHADOW 1200 for 2026 season with a new propulsion setup featuring triple Mercury Verado 400 V10 outboards. Designed to deliver a refined balance of performance and efficiency, the Shadow 1200 configuration enables effortless cruising at 40 knots and a top speed of up to 62 knots. Improved acceleration, optimized propeller geometry, and a redesigned gear case guarantee an even smoother ride.
