Balise Halo pontoon

After launching in early 2024, the Mastercraft-owned luxury brand Balise Pontoons has released their second model -- the 26-foot high performance Halo.

Balise Pontoons is listed under Crest Marine, a subsidiary of the larger Mastercraft Boat Holdings group. Balise went live in April 2024 with the launch of the Horizon and Helix models.

The Halo will represent a new standard for the burgeoning Michigan boatuilder as the 26-foot platform features a host of luxury features and a power rating up to 1000 horsepower.

The new design is 26' but carries a 31'5" LOA with the engine(s). It will be offered in four layouts -- Cruise Layout, Cruise Layout - Twin, Lounge Layout, and Lounge Layout - Twin. The company uses a unique GRID chassis - Geometric Reinforced Integrated Design -- featuring a "performance-tined structure that strengthens the frame while reducing vibration and noise, making the ride more stable, smooth, and comfortable."

Power options will include a standard single Mercury 350 HP Verado outboard, or optional twin Mercury 250's, going all the way up to twin Mercury Racing 500R outboards boasting 1000 total horsepower. Single engine setups will offer a standard 55 gallon (208 L) fuel tank, while twin setups will offer 77 gal (291 L) or 111 gal (420 L) tanks.

Other standout features include front and rear cameras for docking and low speed maneuvering, as well as joystick piloting and both bow and stern thrusters. A power folding tower raises and lowers for docking, storage, and bridge clearance and comes with a framed soft top. An extension provides added coverage as needed.

Other perks include a full wraparound windshield, a built-in cooler drawer integrated into the sidewall, a gas grill on the stern platform, a Lillipad ladder, and the first ever in-water "power cooler' that lower from the deck to water level to provide access to drinks and snacks without getting out of the water. A standard "pet drawer" includes food and water bowls that retract when not in use.

Full integrated RBG lighting beneath the seats, through cupholders, across the flooring, and around the exterior provides ambience on call, and both captain and co-captain seats feature wireless charging stations and double-embroidered detailing.

The Halo will be available with eight different gel coat "colourways" in both solid and ambient accent combinations that includes colour accidents on the fiberglass extending from the exterior to the interior

MSRP will start at $307,538 USD.
