Vancouver International Boat Show Goes Virtual For 2021

By: Scott Way

The Vancouver International Boat Show is going virtual for 2021. The 59th annual event will run Feb 24th-27th with free registration for attendees. The announcement comes on the heels of the recently completed Toronto International Boat Show, which proved to be a highly successful event despite the virtual format. The popularity of the virtual experience will now carry over to Vancouver. Without the usual geographical limitations for those looking attend, virtual attendees from across the globe can gain access to over 225 exhibitors.

Other perks and available features for attendees include:

  • Connect with Exhibitors and the widest array of boats, accessories and services.

  • Engage directly with experts at our virtual seminars.

  • Watch VIBS Live - Exclusive live content, created just for boaters.

  • Great Boat Show Specials; Compare, Shop, Deal.

  • First time ever! Get advice from fellow boaters & expert answers to your questions and join in on Boating Community discussions.

  • Enter great show contests.

“This year’s event is the perfect opportunity for experienced and novice boaters to purchase anything they need in order to get out on BC’s incredible waters. Even though we’re not able to come together as we typically do each year, the boating lifestyle is resilient. Going ‘virtual’ was a clear evolution to keep BC boaters in-touch, but at a distance,” said Show Manager Eric Nicholl. “As we approach the one-year mark of the COVID-19 pandemic, families and individuals are increasingly finding that escaping to the water is a safe, viable and compelling recreational activity.”

The event will run Wed-Sat, as opposed to the usual weekend schedule, with show hours being 11am-7pm from Wed-Fri, and 9am-5pm on Saturday.

Visit VancouverBoatShow.ca to register, and be sure to check back before the launch date to see the full list of participating exhibitors, seminars, speakers, and topics.
