Sylvan Unveils Redesigned X Series Platinum Pontoon Line for 2027

Sylvan Marine has introduced the all-new X Series Platinum for 2027, marking a significant redesign of one of the company's most popular pontoon lines.
The new lineup features an all-new exterior, Sylvan's new in-house built fiberglass panel system, a revised helm design, and a host of premium standard equipment aimed at buyers searching for an upscale pontoon experience.
The redesigned X Series Platinum will sit above the company's standard X Series models and will build on the Platinum Package Sylvan introduced in 2026. For 2027, Sylvan has expanded the concept with a completely new exterior appearance and additional premium features.
In the press release, Sylvan describes the news X Series Platinum as "a pontoon boat that combines premium styling, innovative construction, lasting durability, and outstanding value."
The most noticeable change is the introduction of Sylvan's FXP fiberglass panel system, which will replace traditional aluminum side panels with molded fiberglass construction that Sylvan will make in-house. The company says the new panels provide a more sculpted appearance while offering more updated styling.
Other Platinum-exclusive features include:
Raised helm platform with SeaDek flooring
Lillipad REVO boarding ladder
In-floor storage
See-through front gate
Premium upholstery and upgraded finishes
Black rail package
Powered bimini top
Wet Sounds audio system
Humminbird Helix 5 GPS/fishfinder
Center tube storage on applicable models
Extended rear deck
Performance remains centered around Sylvan's standard SPX Third Tube Performance Package, which includes a third pontoon tube designed to improve stability, handling, and ride quality. Hydraulic steering and a Performance Shield also remain standard equipment. Depending on the layout, maximum horsepower ratings reach up to 300 hp.
The X Series Platinum will also be offered in several floorplans, including the CLZ, LZ, DLZ Bar, and Party Fish configurations. Layouts feature convertible seating arrangements, lounge areas, entertainment-focused designs, and, in the Party Fish model, a dedicated fishing station with livewell, rod holders, and filet table.
According to Sylvan, the redesigned lineup was developed to simplify the buying process by bundling many of the brand's most popular upgrades into a single package. The new X Series also gives the boats a distinct visual identity within the company's lineup.
The 2027 X Series Platinum will now Sylvan's broader pontoon lineup, which includes the M Series, G Series, L Series, Mirage, R Series and A Series. Production models are expected to begin arriving at dealerships as the 2027 model year rolls out later this year.
