Industry leaders Sea Ray continue to stay ahead of the competition with the announcement of new models for 2024. No, that's not a typo. Despite it being just weeks into 2023, the company has announced that the 2024 Sea Ray SPX 210 will make its first appearance at the upcoming Boot Düsseldorf international boat show January 21st-29th, 2023.

The revamped SPX 210 is being pitched as the 'European' version for the event, so North American consumers will have to eagerly await any potential changes for a stateside version.

The Knoxville, Tennessee builder will have an extensive collection of 2023 models on display at the show, including other SPX models like the SPX 190 and SPX 190 OB, the SPX 210 OB, and the SPX 230.

“Boot Düsseldorf presents a global stage for the world’s best boat brands to exhibit their newest innovations,” said Keith Yunger, Sea Ray president in a company statement. “We’re excited to be returning to the show to debut Sea Ray’s latest evolution of the SPX line in front of an international audience and give attendees a glimpse of the future. The all-new 2024 SPX 210 is Sea Ray’s first SPX to embody our cutting-edge design language and the first of our next-generation models to make its debut in Europe. Also, we’re looking forward to displaying our expanded show lineup of more than 15 of our 2023 models.”

Sea Ray began revamping their 'design language' in 2021, which has involved a methodical redesign of many of their popular models. The first use of the new stylings was presented with the 2021 Sundancer 370.

The company has been operating at breakneck speed in other areas as well. In 2022 alone, Sea Ray made a surprise release of the new SLX 260 in May, then followed that up with their first wake boat, 260 SLX Surf, in October.

The SPX 210 showcases the same sporty new aesthetic with a sleek new hull alongside classic Sea Ray style elements. The SPX 210 features a new curved windshield design for improved visibility and protection from the elements. Power comes via a Mercury MerCruiser 4.5L 250hp ECT engine. For those looking for a small-size wakesports boat, the full-size ski locker compartment located in the cockpit floor provides ample storage for life jackets and other equipment. At the stern, the integrated swim platform makes for easy reentry to the boat.

The helm of the new SPX 210 will be equipped with a standard 7" Simrad digital display with Mercury VesselView Link.  The integration of VesselView Mobile will also allow engine information to be monitored from a smart device.Other perks include a Fusion Apollo SRX400 audio system with a touchscreen display, Bluetooth, and Apple AirPlay 2. A Fusion Premier audio system upgrade is also available with Apollo amplifiers, a subwoofer, and Signature Series speakers.
