Sea Ray Adds Sundancer 370 Sterndrive for 2023

After unveiling the Sundancer 370 Outboard at the Miami International Boat Show in February, Sea Ray has finally unveiled its much-anticipated counterpart- the Sundancer 370 Sterndrive.

Both new models incorporate Sea Ray's new design language, which involves a modernized overhaul of the reputed company's entire manufacturing aesthetic.

The new sterndrive edition of the Sundancer 370 will blend the benefits of a cruiser, bowrider, and coupe into one versatile platform.

“The Sundancer 370 Outboard was the first boat built with our cutting-edge, next-generation design,” said Keith Yunger, Sea Ray president. “We’re now expanding the Sundancer family with the introduction of the Sundancer 370 to add a sterndrive option to this award-winning model.”

In terms of design features, the Sundancer already has a sterling reputation among cruiser owners as one of the most comprehensive platforms on the market. It will be available in both a standard open or optional enclosed coupe configuration.

At midships, the new 370 features a U-shaped cockpit with a wet bar, a port teak table, and available upgrades that include an electric Kenyon grill and refrigerator. A broad fibreglass hardtop provides excellent protection form the elements. An opening panoramic skylight, cockpit SureShade, and manual bow sunshade are also available.

Up front, a large bow lounge offers seating for five adults. A teak table or filler cushion can be added to create a dining area or a larger sun lounge while anchored up. The helm is equipped with a Digital Dash™ featuring dual 16″ Simrad NSO evo3 touchscreen displays with standard Mercury Marine VesselView Mobile. Other perks include CZone digital switching and a Fusion Apollo audio system. The 370 can also be upgraded with electronics like a Simrad HALO24 radar, 1st Mate Marine Safety & Security System, and an LED RGB-W color-changing lighting package.

At the stern, a three-position seat can transition from a hard-back surface to an aft0facing seat that overlooks the swim platform below. A filler cushion is also available to extend the seat into a larger sunpad. The swim platform itself comes standard with an automated undermounted submersible step.

The port-side walkthrough boasts a gas-assisted door for accessing the bow. Over 30 cubic feet of storage space up front is optimized thanks to an integrated transom storage hub that can hold bow lines, accessories, and watersports gear.

Below deck, the cabin of the Sundancer 370 features a host of comforting amenities and unbeatable spaciousness that will attract any boater. Hull-side windows and a skylight bring in natural light. The forward V-berth lounge area includes a plush L-shaped couch and smart TV to create a cozy spot for R&R. The L-shaped couch also converts into a sleeper for two, and the mid-berth features fill-in cushions to form another sleeper for two.

The galley includes a microwave, refrigerator, sink and solid-surface countertop to prepare drinks, snacks and meals. When it is time to rest for the night, entertainment can be enjoyed on the optional mid-berth smart TV. The head is equipped with a separate shower and spa-like finishes to provide additional comfort.

Power for the 370 Sterndrive comes from twin 430-horsepower Mercury® MerCruiser 8.2L MAG HO ECT engines with Bravo Three X SeaCore drives and joystick piloting. For additional handling and stability, Active Trim control & monitoring and optional Dynamic Running Surface are also standard.

The new 370 Sundancer Sterndrive is already available for order in North America with shipments expected to begin by early summer 2023.
