Lund Boats has announced the launch of a bold new innovation for hardcore boaters -- the Heavy Gauge (HG) Series.
The new lineup will consist of three models to start and is crafted from heavy-gauge aluminum and engineered for tough conditions,. The HG lineup was specifically designed for anglers and outdoor enthusiasts demanding strength, performance, and all-day versatility on the water.
“The HG is built on the same core values that define every Lund: performance, quality, and durability,” said Dan Anonen, Senior Manager, Product Portfolio and Strategy, Lund Boats, in a press release.
“This is a fish-first platform, designed with serious anglers in mind. But it also offers the versatility today’s customers expect, with features that support family recreation, as well.”
Lund has consistently been one of Brunswick's most active brands. The New York Mills, Minnesota company has made several announcements for 2026 already including the new Explorer Series and the next-gen Crossover XS Series.
The new HG lineup will utilize Mercury Marine power with advanced electronics from Lowrance. The premise is to offer a durable workhorse with unmatched reliability whether chasing trophy fish, hauling gear, or enjoying the day with family.
The HG Series will be offered in three distinct models to start 2026:
HG 185 – 18’5” | Max 150 HP | Seats up to 6
HG 200 – 20’ | Max 225 HP | Seats up to 7
HG 210 – 21’ | Max 250 HP | Seats up to 7
The HG Series will carry a host of standout features designed for both serious anglers and family adventurers. A spacious cockpit with a four-seat configuration provides comfort and functionality for long days on the water, while up to 11 feet of rod storage ensures plenty of room for fishing gear.
At the stern, a fisherman’s transom offers a flat surface ideal for rigging equipment or cleaning fish, complemented by a built-in wash-down system to keep the deck clean after a full day of fishing. The HG Series also features an oversized aft livewell — measuring 51" and holding 28 gallons—to support high-performance fishing.
For longer range adventures, large fuel tanks ranging from 50 to 75 gallons depending on model (189 L to 283 L) offer impressive range. Layouts across all three models are family-ready, designed to transition between fishing-focused outings and recreational cruising. To top it off, optional hard top configurations allow boaters to customize their setup to suit changing needs and weather conditions.
MSRP will start at $71,0003 USD for the HG 185 with a standard Mercury 115 EXLPT four stroke outboard engine. Starting point for the HG 200 will be $78,341 USD with a Mercury 150XL four stroke outboard. The HG 210 will start at $89,824 USD with a Mercury 175XL four stroke outboard.
