Lowe Boats Introduces New Crosswater Series for 2027

The new aluminum crossover platform combines fishing, family recreation, and coastal capability in one package.

Lowe Boats has launched the all-new Crosswater Series, an aluminum crossover platform designed to give anglers and families a single boat offering a variety of on-water activities in one compact platform.

The new Crosswater Series will be offered in two models: the 1870 Crosswater and the 2070 Crosswater. The new platform is designed to bridge the gap between traditional bay boats and inland fishing boats, with the ability to operate on coastal flats and marshes as well as lakes and rivers.

"Today's boaters want versatility without compromise," said Erica Moreland, Marketing Manager for Lowe Boats. "The Crosswater was designed for people who don't want multiple specialty boats. Whether you're targeting fish at sunrise, cruising with family in the afternoon, or exploring new waterways on the weekend, Crosswater gives you one platform that can do it all."

The Crosswater uses Lowe's all-welded aluminum construction with a .125-inch-thick aluminum hull, a 96" beam and a 70" chine.

Fishing features include enclosed rod storage capable of accommodating rods up to eight feet long, an aerated bow livewell, rod-tree compatibility, and multiple seat-base configurations.

The Crosswater also incorporates features aimed at recreational users. A leaning post, aft jump seats, and a boarding ladder are standard, while available EVA flooring is designed to provide additional comfort and traction throughout the boat.

Owners can also equip the Crosswater with a range of available options, including hydraulic steering, tilt steering, LED interior lighting, stereo packages, washdown systems, rod trees, battery shut-off switches, tackle storage solutions, and a fore-console cooler.

The larger 2070 Crosswater can also be equipped with an optional T-top, providing additional shade and protection in coastal environments.

The launch of the Crosswater Series marks another new offering for the Brunswick-owned brand.

In January 2024, the company introduced its redesigned RS Pontoon Series. The six-model lineup ranges from 23 to 27 feet and includes Walk-Thru and Dual Helm configurations, along with Simrad touchscreen consoles, Mercury SmartCraft Connect, and Kicker audio systems.

Lowe also launched the LS Pontoon Series for 2025, adding four models ranging from 17 to 23 feet with multiple layouts, family-oriented features, fishing and storage options, and a standard Bimini top and playpen cover.

For 2026, they expanded their fishing-focused pontoon offerings again with the LF Pontoon Series. The lineup includes four models from 17to 24 feet, each available in front-fishing, four-position fishing, or rear-fishing layouts.

The new Crosswater Series will now sit within Lowe's Roughneck Center Console family.
