Respected Vernon, BC manufacturer KingFisher Boats has made their first move of 2026 with the launch of the all-new 16 Falcon, a 16-foot heavy-gauge aluminum fishing boat designed to be compact, capable, and offering all-around real-world convenience.
The new model will carry an LOA of 16'6" with a 7'4" beam and a dry weight of 950 lbs.
Built to tow behind a mid-size vehicle, the 16 Falcon can also be stored quickly and simply when not in use and removes the barriers that hold people back from boating. The new design is built for anglers and families who want premium quality and performance without the complexity or cost of a larger boat package. Durable, versatile, and designed to hold its value, the new model is an investment that will hold its value over time.
The British Columbia builder has made significant gains in the big water angler market in recent years, thanks to ruggedly capable designs like the 3025 XRS and 2725 XRS in 2024 and the 23 XAC and 25 XAC in 2025.

The 16-foot Falcon design will come standard with several typically premium features, including:
24" Bench Seats with Storage
Transom-Mounted Reboarding Ladder
Auto Electric 1100 GPH Bilge Pump
Seat Slider for Helm Comfort

The 16 Falcon will also utilize KingFisher’s exclusive Pre-Flex hull technology, engineered full-length reverse chines, and performance lifting strakes - all designed for a smooth, dry, confident ride. The rugged construction will offer a maximum horsepower rating of 90 horsepower, 12 degrees of deadrise, and a full-length performance delta keel. KingFisher and Yamaha have also collaborated to offer an exclusive Matte Brown Engine to round out the boat's unique West Coast-influenced aesthetic. The industry-first finish, now expanded across Yamaha’s mid-range lineup for 2026, offers a low-reflection, nature-inspired look ideal for Canadian anglers and outdoor enthusiasts. A 95 L (25 gal) fuel capacity is standard.
Hull colour options will include Polar White, Candy Red, Tuxedo Black, and Twilight Blue. A Sport Graphic Upgrade package is also available.
Other perks include an expansive 8'1" cockpit, rod storage for six rods, and Fishmaster XL seating, wide formed flat gunnels, marine vinyl floor, glove box with locking door, walkthrough windshield, transducer mounting brackets, electric fuel gauge, 12V power point with dual USB outlet, navigation lights, and starboard windshield wipers.
Optional upgrades including a Livewell Package with gunnel-mounted rod holders, and a removable ski pole to allow owners to customize a setup that fits their lifestyle.
The 16 Falcon will carry an entry MSRP of only $49,900 CAD.
The boat will be on display at both the upcoming Vancouver and Toronto Boat Shows, with the Toronto model exclusively paired with the new Yamaha 70 HP Matte Brown outboard.
