Intrepid Powerboats Marks New Era with 50 Evolution

2024 Intrepid 50 Evolution

It's not just a buzzword for the company's development, it's also the name of their latest impressive model.

Intrepid Powerboats has announced the all-new 50 Evolution for 2024, marking the third new model in recent months and a statement to the company's continual growth in the high-performance market.

The Dania, Florida manufacturer also unveiled the 41 Panacea and 43 Nomad SE/FE earlier this year, as well as their new flagship 51 Panacea in 2023.

The renowned boatbuilder was acquired by MarineMax in 2021.

The new 'sport yacht' 50 Evolution will feature a 50' LOA with a 13'8" beam and will be powered by quad Mercury Verado V12 600's for a total of 2400 horsepower.

She will carry a substantial 750 gallon (2840 L) fuel tank as well as a 100 gallon (378 L) freshwater tank.

The new design is highlighted by a hardtop and helm station featuring three sides with full-height glass. A sunroof and opening side windows allow for easier air flow depending on conditions.

Her other standout features include a transom-wide swim platform that allows for easy entry/exit at the stern of the boat despite the presence of quad outboards. The integrated catwalk and a transom door also help with entry and exit, while a drop-down sidewall door creates a large hullside platform and allows for easier movement along the sides of the boat.

An aft kitchenette with a flip-up cover and an optional L-settee allows for al fresco dining while anchored up, and a fold-up rear bench seat creates seating for more guests at the stern, or folds up to offer more space when fewer guests are aboard or for maneuvering while angling.

Below deck is a fully appointed cabin with what the company calls "soft touch upholstered cabin walls."

Customization is offered for nearly every feature, allowing owners to enhance the boat for their individual needs and wants.
