The E1 Series will make its Caribbean debut in 2026 with the season finale in the Bahamas. Another mystery event was also added to the calendar, organizers confirmed Monday.
The newly announced eight-race calendar begins in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on January 23–24, 2026 before across to Europe for events in Lake Como, Italy, in April, Dubrovnik, Croatia, in June, and Monaco, Italy in July — where the newly minted Team Monaco is expected to compete on its home waters.
The 2025 just wrapped up earlier this month with NFL legend Tom Brady leading his team to their second consecutive E1 championship. The 2025 finale was held in Miami on November 8th in the heart of one of North America's busiest boating cities.

As for 2026, not only will the series bring the finale to nearby Bahamas instead, a venue for a mystery event in September remains unconfirmed. There had been discussions the event would take place in Hong Kong, although those reports did not come to fruition. E1 will return to Lagos, Nigeria in October — marking its second African stop — then shift to North America with a penultimate race in Miami mid-November. The season finale is slated for November 2st-22nd in the Bahamas, pending ratification by the UIM Council.
E1 founder and chairman Alejandro Agag said in a press release: “The 2026 E1 calendar marks an exciting new chapter for us. We’re rapidly establishing an exciting, truly global Championship that combines cutting-edge electric innovation with iconic coastal cities and new markets... we’re bringing the thrill of high-speed racing on water to new and existing fans across the world.”

Since launching in 2024, each event across the 8-race schedule is held in the busiest boating hubs around the globe. The series has also connected with the yacht and superyacht market by hosting events where yachting is an key part of the local culture, with cities like Monaco (also home to the F1 Grand Prix), Doha (Qatar), and Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) on the schedule. The series has also partnered with the likes of Sunreef and Azimut Yachts to bring yachting enthusiasts closer to the series.
The series also seeks to engage the broader boating community about sustainability as part of its mission. Each event spotlights responsible marine racing and coastal conservation efforts. To that end, E1 released a sustainability report detailing the environmental impact of the series during its inaugural 2024 season. According to the report, the series generated 1672 tons of C02 emissions during operations in 2024, but was able to offset 1534 tons, or 92%, of its output through its offsetting campaign.
Echoing that sentiment, Rodi Basso, CEO of E1, explained the series’ broader mission: “Our vision for E1 has always been to inspire change through competition. This calendar showcases that ambition – reaching more countries, engaging more fans, and continuing to demonstrate that electric marine mobility is the future. With every season, E1 is not only growing as a sport but showing what’s possible when sport drives sustainability forward.”

For those unfamiliar with the series, team owners are celebrities and athletes including the likes of Tom Brady, LeBron James, Rafael Nadal, Will Smith, and Steve Aoki.
The E1’s RaceBirds — hydrofoil electric powerboats developed for both speed and efficiency -- are their signature appeal with a radical design unlike anything ever produced for boat racing. Designed by SeaBird Technologies in collaboration with Victory Marine, the Racebirds lift above the water to minimize drag while being powered by as-yet unreleased Mercury Marine electric outboards.
The Bahamas finale will add yet another keynote location to the burgeoning city. Not only will it likely attract many yacht owners from nearby Miami and coastal Florida who attended the 2024 finale, it will also bring the series to one of the wealthiest boating locales in the world.
The first race of the 2026 season is January 23rd-24th in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
