Crestliner Unveils 2027 Lineup with New RB-X and Updated Commander Models
Crestliner Boats has unveiled its 2027 lineup, introducing the new RB-X bay boat alongside updates to its Commander series and the 1850 Hawk.
The New York Mills, Minnesota-based brand says the new models are part of its Built For This platform, with each boat designed for different types of fishing, hunting, and recreational use.
"Anglers aren't looking for a one-size-fits-all solution," said Jason Oakes, general manager of Crestliner Boats.
"They want a boat designed for how and where they use it. The 2027 lineup reflects that approach, with models built to excel in a variety of conditions and experiences, from big-water fishing and family outings to hunting and coastal pursuits.”
Commander Series
In the biggest changes for 2027, Crestliner has redesigned its 1850 and 2050 Commander models and added the new Commander Hardtop.
The Commander Hardtop combines a spacious cockpit with a hardtop equipped with sliding windows, windshield wipers, and integrated interior lighting. The Commander models use a deep-V hull with heavy-duty construction for use on larger lakes and rivers and in challenging conditions.
Also new for 2027 is the 2050 Commander XL, which features an 80-gallon livewell. Crestliner says the livewell is intended for species including catfish, striper, Great Lakes salmon, and walleye.
The new Commander models will also retain Crestliner's popular Space Saving Transom (SST) and add a self-bailing bow.
1850 Hawk
The new 1850 Hawk is built on Crestliner's AP-X hull and is rated for up to 150 horsepower. It combines fishing features with seating and storage intended for family use.
Equipment includes rod storage, a large livewell, hidden storage compartments, optional bow cushions, and a bow casting deck.
The AP-X hull design previously appeared on Crestliner's redesigned 2025 Fish Hawk lineup. That series introduced the 1750 and 1850 Fish Hawk models, with handy features including recessed pad and dual tracking edges, lockable center rod storage, and consoles designed to accommodate two 12-inch gimbal-mounted electronics.
New RB-X Bay Boat
The all-new RB-X will expand Crestliner's entry into the bay boat category as a "a bay boat focused design for anglers and hunters seeking versatility, performance and value."
Available in 18-foot and 20-foot configurations, the center-console RB-X features integrated rod storage, rear jump seats, and optional SoftStep ReFlex premium flooring. The 20-foot model can also be equipped with an optional T-top.
The RB-X is designed for a range of coastal and inland fishing, as well as hunting applications. and can carry up to 150 horsepower on the transom.
Fish Hawk Expansion
The 2027 model launches and upgrades are part of a continuous evolution for the Brunswick-owned brand.
The company expanded the Fish Hawk lineup in 2025 with the 2050 Fish Hawk, the largest model in the company's fishing lineup at the time.
The 20'6" design carries an 8'6" beam, a 50-gallon fuel tank, seating for up to eight passengers, and horsepower ratings from 200 to 300 hp. It also features the AP-X hull and storage for up to 14 rods.
The 2050 Fish Hawk also made headlines as the subject of a partnership with NFL wide receiver Matthew Golden. As part of the partnership, Golden took the all-new 2050 Fish Hawk with a 250-hp Mercury Pro XS outboard on various adventures this off-season, including competing in the Bassmaster Classic Celebrity Pro-Am .
Golden, a 2025 first-round draft pick of the Green Bay Packers, said: "Fishing has always been part of who I am. I grew up on the water."
"It’s where I learned patience, focus, and appreciation for the outdoors. Partnering with Crestliner and Mercury Marine feels like a natural fit, and I can’t wait to get my Fish Hawk out on the lakes."
2027 models have already begun arriving at dealers.
