With the growing demand for larger runabouts with outboard power, luxury builder Cobalt has heeded the call by introducing the all-new R33 Outboard.

The boat carries a 33'4" LOA over a 10'6" beam and is yacht certified.

In a company statement, Cobalt president Jason Turner said, “Along with innovative technology to enhance the day boating experience in any type of water, the new R33 Outboard features advancements in design, luxury, convenience and overall performance. We’re looking forward to offering coastal and ocean boaters the chance to enjoy a smooth, stable ride and triple-engine power in a high-quality Cobalt package."

In classic Cobalt fashion, the new R33 OB is a unique blend of sleek lines, agile handling, high performance, and a thorough list of luxury appointments. The new layout also includes a deeper cockpit with higher freeboard, which in turn creates a larger feeling cockpit and bow lounge area.

Power is not in short supply with triple Yamaha or Mercury engines totaling up to 900 total horsepower.

The list of standard amenities is impressive and includes a Garmin glass cockpit with multiple touchscreen displays, ultra-fast USB-C charging stations, 42 cupholders, oversized storage spaces, and a cabin that can be configured for sleeping or seating.

There is also a side entry door for dockside access, and the industry's first Harman Kardon premier marine audio system with Digital Signal Processing – a Cobalt exclusive – and a Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilization system.

Other signature Cobalt design traits include double French-stitched interior fabrics, molded-in gel coat graphics on the exterior, Cobalt's patented 'Swim Step' for easy water access, and hand-laid fibreglass at the keel.

The options list is equally impressive and includes a choice of L-seating or a galley, a removable Ice Mule soft-sided portable cooler, a solid teak dinette table, even larger 12” Garmin display panels, stainless steel LED docking lights and RGB accent light.

Other high-end options include a smart TV for broadband streaming, ‘Fresco Chil’ upholstery that reduces temperatures by up to 20° F on dark surfaces, a dash-mounted mobile phone cradle with wireless charging, an intuitive joystick docking controller, teak flooring for the cockpit, cabin, head and swim platform, and the first one-touch, all-electric planar folding tower and sunshade.

The new R33 OB is already in production and available through the Cobalt dealer network.
