Chris-Craft has brought back a classic with the launch of the all-new Corsair 27.

The all-new design features a closed-bow cruiser that combines a traditional Chris-Craft profile with a redesigned helm, integrated digital systems, and a new teak foredeck.

The longstanding Sarasota, Florida-based builder says the new Corsair retains the closed-bow configuration that boaters have always associated with the model while introducing modern construction, new interior technology, and Chris-Craft's renowned luxury features.

"The Corsair has long represented some of the very best of Chris-Craft design, craftsmanship and innovation," said Marcelo Elias, vice president of engineering at Chris-Craft.

"As we reimagined this iconic model, our goal was to preserve the elements that made the Corsair so distinctive while introducing modern technologies and comfort features that create a more intuitive, connected and enjoyable experience on the water. The result is a boat that feels unmistakably Chris-Craft while setting a new standard for the future of the brand."

The most distinctive element of the new Corsair 27 is the enclosed teak foredeck. Rather than an open bow arrangement typical of most current boats, the Corsair uses a continuous teak-covered foredeck with storage incorporated underneath.

The new design carries an LOA of 27'8" (8.5 m) with an 8'6" (2.5 m) beam and a dry weight of 6,180 pounds with the standard 380-hp engine. The hull features 21 degrees of deadrise, a 69-gallon (261 liter) fuel capacity, and a freshwater capacity of 13 gallons (49 liters).

The Corsair 27 will be available with either Mercury or Volvo sterndrive power. Mercury engine options include the V8 6.2L producing 300 or 350 hp, or the V8 8.2L producing 380 or 430 hp. Volvo options range from the V8-CE 5.3L at 300 and 350 hp to the V8-CE 6.2L at 380 and 430 hp.

The helm and cockpit also feature a fully redesigned layout with wider seats, additional cushioning, and integrated stainless-steel grab handles. The helm seats can rotate aft, allowing the cockpit to be configured as a social space with the stern social zone.

The helm features a Garmin 1543xsv ultrawide display paired with Garmin EmpirBus digital switching technology with integrated navigation, vessel controls, lighting, power management, and system monitoring all in one interface.

The new design also boasts a concealed Bimini top with an available power-operated version. The power Bimini uses a unique actuator system that can be deployed with a single button press.

At the stern, a full-beam swim platform makes reboarding easy and offers significant room for socializing while at anchor. Available options include a manual swim step with an integrated safety interlock system and a pop-up ski tow point.

Three trim configurations will be available for the new Corsair: Standard Edition, Heritage Trim Edition, and Heritage Edition. The Heritage versions add varying amounts of teak, with the Heritage Edition featuring a full teak floor along with teak accents around the engine hatch walkover, foredeck, helm footrests, swim platform, and aft grab rails.

The Corsair 27 will make its official boat show debut at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show Oct. 28–Nov. 1, 2026.
