Edwaters Florida's Everglades Boats unveiled an 'unsinkable' model for 2023 -- the all-new 285CC.
The new platform carries an LOA of 30'1" with dual outboards and brings a sleek assortment of fishing and cruising features, all aboard a single level deck that provides 360 degree access around the boat.
According to the company press release, the new 285CC combines "tournament-ready features with exclusive yacht-like comforts," which certainly appears so after exploring the boat's overall layout.
Key amenities include full-beam retractable transom seating that allows the boat to be converted from family-friendly day tripper to tournament ready fishing boat. An exclusive rotating helm/mezzanine seat with leaning post also provides flexibility to face bow or aft.
Dual Garmin® 16” touchscreen displays provide access to status and performance data, and in an Everglades exclusive, all of the vessel's functions are integrated into a single touch screen digital switching system with redundant membrane switches.
Other fishing-centric features include the single-level fishing deck to provide 360° gunwale access, optional Gemlux® collapsible 18’ poles with deluxe adjustable bases, 11 stainless steel rod holders, an optional 2 x 25 gallon insulated circulating livewell, a 35-gallon transom fish box, and a 60-gallon in-deck forward fish box.
Also at the helm are an optional Yamaha® Helm Master EX system with joystick, True Autopilot™, and pre-programmed fishing modes that allow captains to orient and secure their vessel while fishing in wind, waves, and current.
Up front, a spacious bow features plush upholstered lounges with teak accents and recessed in deck storage that can be converted into a casting deck or sun pad. The aft offers an exclusive rotating helm/mezzanine seat and loads of fish-focused storage.
Other perks include Everglade's "unsinkable" hull construction that comes with a lifetime hull warranty and three year component warranty. The no-wood construction also uses patented closed molded RAMCAP® construction with high density, closed cell, structural foam flotation throughout the deep-V hull.
